Whitman Ranch raises organic crops and cattle in an area of many different soils and terrains.

Since 1905, Whitman Ranch has been producing food in central North Dakota. For four generations, we have carried on the tradition within the family.

We have many acres of native grass and many more acres of tame grass pasture and cropland which is rotated through organic crops. For the past 12 years, we've worked consistently with the NDSU Carrington Research Extension Center cooperating on field test plots for organic seed and no-till organic practices.
